Another day and another data loss for the Government.
This is just incredible. They just don't get it.
Thousands of criminals' details on a memory stick is taken out, unencrypted, to be lost. That data is worth a lot of money to many people.
Firstly, it's incredible that the Home Office has managed to lose data again.
Secondly, will the idiot responsible be fired for it? Probably not - civil servants are beyond such actions.
My issue is that the Government cannot be trusted with identity cards (which have nothing to do with identity but everything to do with control) and all of our details will be available to all and sundry.
We have to offload this bunch of losers - and Gordon Brown says he will win the next election. My money is still on him being ousted next month.
