The reason we have troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan is wrapped up in the woolly expression 'the War on Terror' (our Government is one of the world's biggest terrorists, scaring the living crap out of the people who live here). So can someone PLEASE tell me why this fight doesn't begin in our own country? Anyone, and I mean anyone, who preaches hate and intolerance in the name of Islam should be dealt with. But like all Nu Labour ideas it's just all hot air. If we are genuinely at war with Al Qaeda then we should not be giving Abu Qatada any freedom whatsoever. Especially since he and his family are on benefits. Ignore all the crap the Gordon Brown was an 'Iron Chancellor'. he can't even control people in his ownparty let alone trying to stop people commiting acts of terror in thsi country. Mind you, it is good to see the hook-handed cleric get his marching orders. And I'm sure the Americans will show him what prison life is really like. Mind you, he hasn't actually gone yet has he?
